*Please note that booking closes Friday, 5th June

I am delighted to be giving a talk on Holbein on Saturday, 20 June, at St Peter’s Church, Coughton, Warwickshire.

Ticket-holders will also be given a private tour of Coughton Court by the Throckmorton family, who have owned and occupied the estate since 1409, and will be treated to tea in the gardens (weather-permitting).

Coughton Court is an imposing Tudor mansion (begun c. 1530 by Sir George Throckmorton) filled with Catholic treasures and set in beautiful gardens.

The schedule for the day:

1:45pm – Arrival at Coughton Court
2:00pm – Private tour of Coughton Court house and gardens, led by the Throckmorton family
3:15pm – Afternoon tea (weather-permitting, in the gardens), followed by further house/garden tour (as necessary for numbers)
5:15pm – Professor Elizabeth Goldring, Lecture on Holbein: Renaissance Master at St Peter’s Curch, Coughton, B49 5JA.

Hope to see you at Coughton for what promises to be a very special opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of the great Tudor houses.

The cost for the afternoon is £50 per person. For further details and a booking form, use the button below.
